It seems that the God of the Jews is reading my blog! My punishment for slagging off Israelis was a day-trip spent in the company of 10 Israelis and the Brazilian guide. Oh, well. The trip was still nice, saw more beautiful scenery, snorkelled in a cave with crystal clear waters, walked around another cave with stalagtites and stalagmited. Added benefit was that since the others basically ignored me and kept talking to each other in Hebrew all the time, I managed to practice my Portuguese (now I know how to say bat and owl as well) and also to get deep with myself while staring at the views. I was also trying to figure out whether I have anything in common with the people who are "my people" in some way, and whether my intense dislike stemmed from some strange familiarity, but I decided that it was not as complicated. I simply do not like to be ignored and I appreciate good manners.

I am leaving this gorgeous place tonight and will soon let you know where I ended up. (Not quite sure where the road takes me but might be to a diving course.)
